Paul's entire adult life has been spent serving both his country and community. He gave 26 honorable years of service to our country in the United States Navy. He then went on to earn a Master's degree in education and is entering his 17th year of teaching high school U.S. History. 

Paul also deeply values the importance of both family and community. He spent many years coaching his son's football and baseball teams. One of Paul's greatest joys is driving to Richmond for the day to visit his son, daughter-in-law and new grandson. When Paul married Bleigh Harris, he adapted quickly to having 3 step-daughters, and has supported them in their various endeavors. After Paul moved to town several years ago, he quickly discovered what puts the 'Love' in Lovettsville. Now he wants to give back to the community that he and his family adore so much.
